IMPROVED COOKING COMFORT WITH THE 35 cm long KITCHEN GLOVE
These articles allow you to hold or carry a 250°C hot plate for more than 20 seconds without feeling a pain. The GLOVE contains a steam/hot water barrier inside the hand palm and adds protection to its most exposed part. The long sleeve avoids burning of the forearm when manipulating or removing hot plates from the oven. It can be used by left- and right handers.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL MAT of a practical 20 x 20 cm size
The MAT is multifunctional and allows you to remove or carry not only hot pans but you can also use it as an under cover for hot plates or to remove undesired burned material from hot oven plates, change electrical bulbs without feeling the heat at your finger tips. It can also be used as a wash-up cloth and its rougher surface on the back side removes dirt and spills from pans or cooled down cooking surfaces (e.g: for ceramic cooking surfaces).
APPEARANCE
The supple, light-weight, nicely coloured KITCHEN GLOVE and MAT were developed by Destex SA for use at cooking places, household-, restaurant-kitchen, barbecue, etc. to provide optimised heat and flame protection. The palm of the GLOVE and the backside of the MAT are made of a roughened surface to grant a good grip.
A SAFE CHOICE
These heat and fire resistant household articles made of NOMEX® fulfil the European safety norms required for fire-fighter clothes, uniforms, gloves, etc. as for example:
Limited flame spread: EN 532, < 2 seconds after flame/afterglow
Heat resistance in oven: EN 469, no melting/no dripping/no ignition
Contact Heat Test: EN 702, at 250°C - 24 seconds. Rating 1
